Money can be a source of endless worry, or comfort and joy. American philosopher Jacob Needleman says, “You can’t escape money. If you run from it, it will chase you and catch you. …If you don’t know how you are toward money and really understand that relationship, you simply don’t know yourself.”

UU Avl member Lisa Schwartz will lead a gentle exploration of a soulful approach to fiscal fitness. Lisa is a fellow-journeyer, not an expert, and this is not a class on investment strategies or secrets of budgeting. It’s not about giving to the church or pledging, just an invitation to get comfortable inside your own “money skin.”
