Our Location
We are located at 1 Edwin Place, Asheville, NC 28801. Our main building is located at the corner of Charlotte St and Edwin Place with two additional buildings, 21 and 23, along the first block of Edwin Place. For more information on parking and campus accessibility click here.
Parking
We are located in a historic and largely residential area of Asheville and thus do not have a large parking lot. There are 3 small parking lots accessible from Bond Street (the north-facing side of the building); A paved lot closest to Charlotte Street, which is reserved for handicapped and mobility-challenged community members on Sunday mornings, and two gravel lots.
On Sundays, Most of our congregants and visitors park on the streets that surround our building. Edwin St, Charlotte St, and Sunset Pky have ample street parking. We asked that members and friends, if able, leave some parking nearest to the building available for late-comers and visitors.
Note that the staff reserved spaces are reserved 24/7, seven days a week.
Campus Accessibility
Wheelchair-accessible entrances to the Sanctuary and Sandburg Hall (our fellowship hall) are located through the foyer from either Bond Street or Edwin Place. Entry to these two large spaces on Sunday mornings is fully accessible.
There is an all-gender/family/handicapped restroom in Sandburg Hall.
The lower level of Sandburg Hall is handicap-accessible through a street level door just inside the gated playground area. There is no elevator connecting our two levels.
23 Edwin Place (pictured on right) is accessible from Edwin Place via steps to the front door or a ramp to the right of the building. There is one handicap parking space in the driveway of the building.
